Received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, United States, in 2018. There she majored in computational analysis of genomic data and phylogenetics, while working at the Caribbean Genome Center as a junior researcher.
Worked at the Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Bioinformatics in 2015-2018 as a research engineer under the supervision of Dr. S.J. O'Brien.
In 2015, graduated from the Biology Department of St. Petersburg State University, sub-department of Genetics and Biotechnology, and was awarded a BSc degree in Biology.
Graduated from the Bioinformatics Institute of St. Petersburg in 2014.
Sofia joined the BCNNM project in 2017 and is primarily interested in modeling development, cell signaling and metabolism.
